1. Permitted Use & Legal Compliance
Vortex Downloader is a productivity tool created to facilitate downloading personal media backups and contents that you own or have explicit legal rights to access. We do NOT promote or encourage downloading copyrighted content without the owner’s permission. The end-user assumes all liabilities and legal responsibilities for any material downloaded using the software.
2. License Terms & Account Limits
Vortex Downloader offers two main editions:
- Free Edition: Unlimited downloads restricted to 1080p resolution and a maximum of 3 concurrent segment connections. Banners are displayed on the UI.
- Pro Edition: Unlocks resolutions up to 4K/8K, max concurrent segments (up to 10), scheduling tools, and is 100% ad-free.
Pro Licenses (Monthly or Lifetime) are strictly bound to one physical device. You can deactivate the key from your app settings at any time to transfer it to a new computer. Sharing your license key publicly or attempting to reverse-engineer the licensing API will result in permanent key termination.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
Vortex Downloader is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Because the software connects to third-party media hosting websites whose API layouts shift frequently, we cannot guarantee that all download stream resolutions will remain functional indefinitely. We update our internal Core Engines regularly to resolve upstream platform changes and maintain uninterrupted download performance.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Vortex Downloader, its creators (Hammad & Moiz), or its affiliates be liable for any damages (including loss of data or profit) arising out of the use or inability to use the software, even if we have been notified of the possibility of such damage.
5. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with your local jurisdiction laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
